The Conceptua Math Free Tools are interactive visual models designed to teach mathematics concepts to students in grades 3-5. A total of 30 tools elegantly develop number sense in Fractions, Multiplication and Division, and Place Value.
The tools offer easy customization and include built-in features for interactive whiteboards. Each tool presents a choice of visual models and offers options on how its models link to procedures. Models include fraction bars, fraction circles, number lines, double number lines, arrays, open arrays, base ten blocks, base ten coins, and many more.
Teachers use these tools to lead number talks, and each tool includes Talk Moves sentence stems. Students use the tools to solve rich math tasks and create their own story problems.
